Flushing elected officials made good on their promise to host a “Carnival for All Children” at Bowne Playground on Sanford Avenue in Flushing on Tuesday. The event was a response to a neighborhood school principal who prohibited around 100 elementary school students from attending a carnival during the school day because they couldn’t pay the $10 fee.
