Twenty-five public schools in northeast Queens will receive an infusion of funding, thanks to a new grant.
Assemblyman Ed Braunstein announced that each school in the 26th Assembly District, which goes from Whitestone to Bayside, will get $75,000 for new technology.
That means new computers, smart boards and security cameras.
Altogether, $1.875 million was directed to the district.
The new tech is much-needed, and will hopefully make an impact for local students.
